With an election imminent and votes to be gained, Victorian politicians are lining up to take a cheap shot at Tiger Woods’ appearance fee to play this week’s Australian Masters in Melbourne. However, pardoning the pun, the evidence is clear that Tiger will again give us ‘bang for our buck’.

Victorian tourism operators this morning awoke to great news in Melbourne’s Herald Sun. The world’s no.1 golfer, Tiger Woods, has again been secured to compete in the JB Were Australian Masters tournament and will defend his 2009 title at the Victoria Golf Club in November.
